Easiest way to remove shortcut Virus

Hello friends welcome back to trick your world. As the exams time is approaching it's getting hard to post regular posts. But we will be back online with daily posts soon.  For today I have came with a really useful post for all of the college and school students. In the school and college labs mostly all computers are infected with viruses. And whenever we attach our pendrive to any of this pc's our pendrive gets infected too. One of the most famous virus of this labs is Shortcut Virus! This virus changes each and every file in our pendrive into shortcuts. So today let us see the easiest way to get rid of this virus and save our pc's from further damage of infection too.

Things to know about this Virus :-

1. It will change all your files and folders into shortcuts and if you will click on any one of them your own pc will get infected.

2. If you will do anti-virus scan on it all shortcuts will get removed! So your pendrive will look completely empty but don't worry it will still have all of your data.

3. By following this post all those files will get to there normal form and will be visible to you.

Steps to remove shortcut virus :-

1. First of all insert pendrive in any pc.

2. Open the pendrive but don't click on any shortcuts by any way!!

3. Then press shift and right click on any blank space.

4. Select open command prompt here. Ya we are gona use cmd for this.

5. Type following command attrib -h -r -s /s /d *. *
6. Press enter and all your files would come back.
7. Do a virus scan again to remove any shortcuts that are still left or you can now delete them your self.

8. Some time all your files may come into some folder with blank name.

So that was all and easiest way to remove the shortcut virus from Your pendrive and computers.
